Award- winning violinist of the “Genius of violin” competition London
Lamaya , the Japanese award winning violinist of “The Genius of violin” competition London says that she knew she was a born violinist as soon as she laid her eyes on the violin at 8 years of age.
Her talent was discovered early by Philip Lewis (concertmaster of Calgary PhilharmonicDallas,Texas) who had encouraged her to expand her studies internationally.
She has studied at the Mozarteum conservatory (Salzburg, Austria) with: Prof Lewis Kaplan , London Symphony concertmaster , Prof Adrean Adlam and in Toho conservatoire of Music of Tokyo Japan with Chihiro Morikawa, which has built her strong base of being a virtuoso renowned violinist. Nowadays, she enjoys playing soundtracks for movies and musical as well as performing popular songs and composing .
